One workshop.Thirty-five years of print.

Heathrow Printers opened in 1990 and has been printing for businesses and households across Surrey, West London and the Home Counties ever since. This is who we are and how we work.

Our story

Heathrow Printers started in 1990 as a modest print shop in Ashford, Surrey, founded on a simple idea: do the printing properly, and look after the person who ordered it.

Over three decades that small shop has grown into one of the area's most established printing businesses. The technology has changed completely — from traditional lithographic presses to digital, wide-format and garment printing — but the way we work hasn't. You deal with a person, not a portal. Your files get checked by someone who knows what a bleed is. And if something isn't going to look good in print, we tell you before it's printed, not after.

Today the team covers print production, graphic design and customer service under one roof at 10a Woodthorpe Road. Walk in, talk through what you need, see samples, and collect the finished job — often the same day.

Under one roof

What's in the workshop

Everything is printed and finished on the premises in Ashford — which is why we can turn jobs around fast and check quality at every stage. We reinvest in equipment regularly so the kit never becomes the bottleneck.

  • Digital presses

High-speed digital printing for short to medium runs — cards, flyers, brochures, documents.

  • Offset presses

Traditional litho for larger volume projects where unit cost matters.

  • Large-format printers

Banners, posters, signage and plans, printed wide in-house.

  • Finishing equipment

Cutting, folding, binding and laminating — the job is finished here, not sent away.

  • Direct-to-garment machines

Branded workwear and t-shirts printed on the premises.

How we work

What we stand for

Quality

We don't cut corners on stock, ink or attention. Every job is checked before it leaves the workshop, because your name is on it as much as ours.

Reliability

When we agree a deadline, we meet it. Plenty of our customers print time-sensitive work — event signage, site plans, last-minute jobs — and they come back because we deliver.

Sustainability

We offer recycled paper stocks and vegetable-based inks, and we work to keep waste out of the production process wherever we can.

Service

We're a real shop with real people. Walk in, talk your job through, see and feel samples, get honest advice. That's what an online print factory can't do.

The people at the counter

Meet the team

JW

John Williams

Founder & Managing Director

John founded the business in 1990 and still oversees every side of it. Over 35 years in print means there aren't many jobs he hasn't seen — or problems he hasn't already solved.

SW

Sarah Williams

Co-Founder & Client Relations

Sarah has looked after customers since day one — talking jobs through, keeping orders on track and making sure nobody leaves without knowing exactly what they're getting.

MT

Mark Thompson

Head of Production

Mark runs the workshop floor — file preparation, presses, finishing. Nothing leaves the building until it meets his standards, and his standards are exacting.

EP

Emma Patel

Lead Graphic Designer

Emma turns rough ideas and imperfect files into print-ready artwork. If your logo only exists as a screenshot, she's the person who rescues it.
